You’ll then move on to industry specific, specialist knowledge, which when combined with the business fundamentals understanding you’ve acquired, will help you apply strategic and operational thinking in ways that fit the healthcare industry.

Explore different healthcare system delivery models, international healthcare policies and laws and the unique economic conditions of the healthcare industry. Learn to know the various healthcare market drivers, how policy is designed and which interest groups need to be taken into considerations: politicians, the general companies and medical and pharmaceutical corporations.

By understanding the full scope of how healthcare policies are designed, you’ll improve your chances of successfully navigating them in your future career as a healthcare manager.

At IU you have the possibility to complete your degree fully from home, whether full-time or part-time. You can even take your exams online whenever it suits you. *The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a tool of the European Higher Education Area for making studies and courses more transparent. It helps students to move between countries and to have their academic qualifications and study periods abroad recognized. ECTS allows credits taken at one higher education institution to be counted towards a qualification studied for at another. ECTS credits represent learning based on defined learning outcomes and their associated workload.	When do I start? For administrative purposes Intake is monthly. Registration should be made at least 5 days to the next start date. Inquire for the next start dates.	Admission Academic criteria: Completed degree from a public or officially recognized university/higher education institution. At least a “satisfactory” or Grade C equivalent earned in your previous education. Your undergraduate studies must amount to 180 ECTS for an 90-ECTS MBA. You will need to submit proof of at least one year’s qualified work experience completed prior to the start of the study programme (the work experience must be gained after the completion of your undergraduate studies). For MBA programmes, you will also need to have completed a second year of professional work experience before graduating. *Admission into program at the sole discretion of IU.
